These are from the day before Theo's birthday, when he celebrated with some of his friends. If I'd taken more pictures you might have seen the finished art projects, candles that didn't light, Theo grinning during the birthday song, handprints in the cake's frosting; but here you can at least see a lovely day, kids painting, the birthday boy between tantrums, and if you look closely, the remains of a banana that was mashed with much wonder and delight.
