Belated birthday post

These are from the day before Theo's birthday, when he celebrated with some of his friends.  If I'd taken more pictures you might have seen the finished art projects, candles that didn't light, Theo grinning during the birthday song, handprints in the cake's frosting; but here you can at least see a lovely day, kids painting, the birthday boy between tantrums, and if you look closely, the remains of a banana that was mashed with much wonder and delight.

Titanic, Laughter

New information has come to light regarding the sinking of the Titanic:  a monster ate part of it and made it sink.  The monster came out of the iceberg and ate part of the Titanic.  This was revealed first thing this morning by "Theo," a character played by an actor named Laughter.  That "Theo" is a character Laughter plays and not my son's real name was revealed first thing Wednesday morning.  These early morning revelations are one of my favorite parts of my days.
