Breakfast

stuff we do, here it be

2.27.2011

Here I am, a long, long time ago, on Greatgrandma Crawford's lap... and Grandma off to our left, your right.

Some pictures from December that I finally developed.

Here's my youngest brother, Trevor, once upon a time in a galaxy almost 3 hours away.  Dad emailed us the picture this week... he (Dad, not Trev) recently became a full-fledged nurse, but has long been an expert dye-er of star hair.

Getting smelly at the conservatory

Kyle & I went to the conservatory for my birthday... these chocolate-scented geraniums didn't smell all that chocolatey, but they smelled nice.  I love the conservatory.  And I love Kyle (a whole lot more than the conservatory).

Breakfast at the New Orleans Cake Bakery and Cafe: French Toast with Orange Pecan Syrup, and...

On the ferry crossing the Mississippi

Breakfast in Bywater: Grits, Praline Bacon, and Grilled Salmon and Brie on Rye topped with a Fried Egg. And some orange juice.

Dr. Bob is a local artist who makes lots of signs (like these) and paintings of alligators and many other things. This is the same breakfast place.

Shannon taking a picture of Savory Simon on the Hubig's delivery van. So far we've tried the Sweet Potato and the Coconut pies. This is one block form our Inn. They only make the pies here so we bought them a couple blocks away at a place that doesn't have a real sign but is called Mardi Gras Zone which also doesn't describe the place because it's really a health food store.
Remember lush green grass?

Yum, pepperminty hot chocolate!

This was growing in between the sidewalk and the street.  Nearby was partially harvested broccoli and some kale.

Ferry motor & related machinery

Roses!  Lots and lots of roses!
