stuff we do, here it be

A few days in Groveland, USA

We went to a baking crafty fair thing.  Shannon got an ancient handkerchief from like the 1700s and spent most of the time making faces.  I tried some spicy popcorn.
Shannon telling about how she thinks her earrings have fallen down a heat vent and are irretrievable while also driving and throwing a big piece of trash out the window at a stray cat she tried (unsuccessfully) to run over with the car but thought she could get with the trash.   She didn't miss the second time.

I liked this quite a lot.

I carried a tree branch around the yard for a while.  After I was done carrying it I threw it.  It flew for about 10 feet.  Not as far as I had hoped, but still a respectable distance.

Then I pointed at a great pile of bricks near the house.  I can spot a really nice pile of bricks from over 700 meters away.

And of course, later that night there was raging flaming mountain of sticks.

The fire was at least 65 or 70 feet high.

This guy went around sneaking up on people.  We're still not sure who he is or where he came from.

Here are some more people.  Shannon has been related to them for decades; I have for a few months.

Shannon pretending to have cut her hair and grown a mustache.  Don't fall for her wily tricks.  But look!  Her earrings are safely back in the holes in her ears where they belong.
