Theodore

His first 48 hours of life (plus a few hours leading up to it).

We packed food for the hospital...

and walked to the hospital...

then a whole bunch of things happened and then Theo was with us...

we ate some hospital food...

and watched Theo who was often confused by his having arms...

(he was often holding them up awkwardly or defiantly)...

and he wore an alarm while at the hospital...

and slept a lot the first day...

and we ate more hospital food...

then did so again (this meal was especiallybad)...

and I took more pictures, mostly of Theodore but other things as well... .

Check out this thing we found on the causeway between Dunedin & Honeymoon Island.  What do you think
it is?  I'm guessing fish teeth.  Maybe from an anglerfish, maybe from a shark, or maybe from a gar.

We went to the beach the other day... it was blindingly sunny.  For once the harinezumi camera isn't exaggerating the brightness (at least not much).  Such a nice switch from grey wintry Chicago.

33 years old, 31 weeks pregnant.  And a tree looking at me (this is actually Shannon posting, not Kyle... but he took the picture).
